NBC-AIG Party Report-Video

The CEO of the giant AIG Insurance Company, Edward Liddy, today defended spending $440,000 on a retreat at a luxurious California resort as "standard practice in our industry" because it rewarded independent insurance agents who were top performers for the company. The event, at the St. Regis Resort and Spa at Monarch Beach, California was held less than a week after the federal government saved AIG from bankruptcy with $85 billion in loans.

Members of Congress complained that AIG executives "were getting pedicures, manicures and massages" at the expense of American taxpayers, suffering from the financial crisis caused by AIG. Resort bills obtained by Congress showed AIG spent $23,000 on charges from the spa and salon.

There Ain't No Party Like A AIG Party! $450,000 Party!..Video

As soon as AIG got the word that they could steal your tax dollars with the passing of the bailout bill, they through a $450,000 party.

This is the equivalent of spitting in the tax payers face.

We are struggling to survive day to day and these companies make money the old fashion way, steal it with the help of our leaders.

This behavior should not be tolerated! We should demand our politicians to strip these leaders of all their assets.

Here is your hard earned tax dollars at work....

$139,375.30 for rooms. $147, 301.71 for "banquets." $1,488 for the Vogue Salon, which features manicures, pedicures and hairstyling. $6,939.09 on golf. $2,949 for tips. $5,016.32 at the Stonehill Tavern. $3,064.71 for in-room dining and the lobby lounge. That's part of the $440,000 bill from a recent weekend bash that an American International Group Inc. subsidiary threw for its top performers at the posh St. Regis resort, on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Sounds like they had fun.

This should be considered criminal!
